Lake information

Canyon lake is a beautiful clear water glacial lake accented by islands and bays. The lake is about 14,000 acres, approximately 15 miles long and two miles wide to its narrowest point of 100 yards. The depths range from a few feet in the weedy bays to 100 feet at its deepest point.

Being a deep-water lake assures that times of severe weather be it the cold of winter or the heat of summer that there will be little to no fish kill.  The lake is filled with weed beds, rocky shorelines with fallen trees and rock structures in abundance throughout the lake. This provides the perfect habitat for the best Muskie, Bass and Walleye fishing. Perch and Whitefish are also present.

Camp location

The camp is located about 18 miles from the town of Vermilion Bay off Blue Lake Rd.
